Mobile Home Leveling in Orlando, FL
Doors sticking, cracks in walls or floors that feel uneven are common signs a manufactured home has settled. Re-leveling adjusts the piers and shims so the home sits level again.
About mobile home leveling
A manufactured home rests on a series of piers, usually concrete blocks topped with wood shims and caps, spaced along the steel I-beams under the home. Over time the ground under those piers can settle, shims can dry out or shift, and the home slowly goes out of level.
Re-leveling means checking the home with a level or water level, then jacking each low point back up and resetting the shims so the weight is carried evenly again. The tie-downs are loosened for the work and re-tensioned afterward.

Mobile Home Leveling questions
How long does re-leveling take?
Many single-wide homes can be re-leveled in part of a day, while double-wides and homes with more settling take longer. The quote will give you an estimate for your home.
Will re-leveling fix cracks in my walls?
Leveling stops the movement that causes many cracks and can close some gaps, but existing cracks in drywall or trim may still need cosmetic repair.
